3 mile recovery

I turn and face north.
Switch the autopilot on.
Legs gladly take charge.

Upstairs, loud music
Plays all night. Sometimes it's hard
to love thy neighbor.

Twas not a good run.
Two miles fast, four slow, I'm...
More tortoise than hare.

I fall out of bed.
Grab my socks, some tea, my shoes--
Eyes must stay open

Woke up quite early.
Ran my fastest 4 miles.
I feel young,less bald.
